Blurb: A Deliberate Mistake

“My instincts told me to run, to pass him off to somebody else, but everyone has a dark side, and mine wanted to play.”

Emma Black is an ordinary psychiatrist with extraordinary fantasies. As a rational woman, she knows these fantasies are best kept in her head. However, her latest client challenges her rationality in a very dangerous way.

Matthew Smith has a dark side that makes the far side of the moon look like a halogen lamp. He is fuelled by fury, hatred, and a lifetime of loathing. His entire past has been defined by the spite of women, and he wants revenge.

He has been watching Emma since their very first encounter all those years ago. She will be his demise; his wicked pleasure, and his road to absolution. Or so he thinks.

Olivia’s relationship with Stanley is comfortable but is comfortable really enough? Tormented by the condom which has resided in her purse for a decade, Olivia Lyons wants more. When her childhood friend needs help, Olivia takes the leap back into singledom by moving to London to support her.

Olivia is looking to explore herself, to find the excitement and passion. What she isn’t looking for is E, the man who makes her lose her morals, boundaries, and her underwear.

E is mysterious, secretive, and very, very bad for Olivia’s mental health. For her mission of sexual exploration, however, he is the definition of masculine perfection. Even if she wants to punch him in the face.

E doesn’t open up for anyone, he knows what he wants and he takes it, binds it, and spanks it. Their relationship is defined by rules which lean in his favour, and that’s fine at first because he can teach her so much, but how long can a girl like Olivia tolerate a man like E before things become inevitably complicated and she gets hurt?

The next books in the Contradictions series

Well, Craig is now out there for the world to see and those of you who follow me on Facebook are probably aware that Ian Carter is already elbowing his way into the forefront of my mind.

I’m fairly decided now that he deserves two books which means there will most likely not be a HEA at the end of book 1 (sorry!) it also means I won’t be releasing book 1 until I’m half way through book 2. This means you won’t have to wait as long for the second half of the story.

Ian is a huge personality with an extremely complex mixture and I want to do him justice. I think these will be my best books yet and I’m so excited. I’m just working out the intricacies of some of the twists for the plot line but I’ve already started writing.

The prologue is written by Ian Carter himself. (Of course he’d want the first word in his books!) I will be sharing this prologue once ‘A Natural Act’ gets a few more reviews on Amazon so if you haven’t left a review yet and want to get a bit of the oldest Carter brother – you know what to do!

Needless to say, as a complex man, Ian leads an equally complex sex life. There’s a very specific kind of woman who can challenge him in this regard and I can’t wait for you to meet her!
